By combining fresh local ingredients with imported spices and traditional Malaysian cooking techniques, the Blue Chillies kitchen has been able to expand on their extensive experience of hawker-style cooking on the streets of Kuala Lumpur and Penang. They have created dishes that have a focus on balance in texture, flavour and presentation. The menu includes many vegetarian and gluten free options, and the lunchtime hawker-style menu provides some of Melbourne’s best laksa and noodles. The dishes are best appreciated when shared with good company.

With a brand new design that takes its heritage from the colonial shophouses of Malaysia, Blue Chillies is comfortable for all types of dining, from the casual mid-week dinner to birthdays and other celebrations. Situated over two storeys, Blue Chillies also has a private function space that can seat up to 40 guests. The added flexibility to create a set menu prior to your event will ensure a pleasurable approach to your communal food experience.
